Tinsley Tuesday

Jt and my birthdays are 4 days apart.  Jt was traveling for work over his birthday so we made sure to spend the entire birthday weekend together.  Over the summer I took golf lessons so I asked Jt to go golfing with me for my birthday on Saturday.

After golfing Jt suggested we go to the local dog shelter. After walking around and adoring the many pups we took a few out.  "Sally" was great on our walk.

She had been there only a week and was being fixed on Tuesday so we wouldn't be able to take her home that day.  We decided to pay $5 to hold her and come back the next day with our decision.  Of course she was all I could talk or think about Saturday night so we went back and adopted her Sunday.

  

We had a very hard time coming up with a name for her.  In fact when I picked her up Tuesday with Jt's cousin Kara, we still didn't have a name for her.  That night we decided to name her Tinsley after the violist of Jt's favorite band, Dave Matthews Band.  We couldn't have picked a better dog or name.
